Noventus Role

Our Client engaged Noventus to create a team of Network Testers to provide Use and Test Case analysis and network engineering development specialising in Unified Communications and other network devices in a Cisco and Juniper environment.

Business Need

Our Client was part of a major ICT transformation project to develop solutions for the Department of Defence utilising the Unified Communications suite. An important part of this project was to verify the use cases, execute the test plans and develop reports on outcomes and potential solutions.

Noventus Solution

Noventus was able to rapidly establish a team to provide a definitive test capability for this high profile project. The team consisted of qualified and experienced network test professionals with over 38 years’ experience in testing and engineering.
Noventus developed and delivered Technical Tower Test Plans that addressed testing for:

• Components
• Sub-Systems, and
• Systems

Noventus also improved the testing methodology across Engineering teams building on automation and scripting; co-operated with vendors, users and senior staff as required to agree on the testing strategy to be employed for the project; raised risks associated with testing activities to the GM T&I; and supported the development and delivery of the following deliverables:

• Verification Cross Reference Matrix
• Acceptance Test Plans
• Acceptance Test Procedures, and
• Acceptance Test Reports
